About SafeHaven
We created SafeHaven Freedom Ministries in honor of Lake with a mission to reach our communities right in front of us with recognition, recovery, and resources.
in loving memory of
LAKE DISINGER
Garrett and Ada lost their middle son, Lake, tragically on October 30, 2021 to fentanyl poisoning. Following Lake's death, Ada and Garrett were called to start a teen recovery ministry, “For lake’s Sake,” bringing fentanyl and other drug awareness to the community through rallies, outreach, media, and cooperation with other organizations. Safehaven Freedom Ministries exists to deliver recognition, resources and recovery by mentoring teens, young adults and veterans who want their freedom and faith restored. We believe that everyone is recovering whether that be from addictions, forgiveness, pain, trauma, PTSD, and more. We are here to help facilitate that recovery by offering guidance, resources, connections, and more.
Garrett & Ada Disinger have been working in ministry since 2010. They are nationwide missionaries who are used to equip the community and church to go out and share the gospel. They have 3 sons, Zaine, Lake and Asher. Garrett and Ada lost their middle son, Lake, tragically on October 30, 2021 to fentanyl poisoning.
